SoftwareSilo and Amasty both let Magento 2 buyers prepare many order lines without opening every product page. Their overlap includes name and SKU search, file-based input, product validation, option handling, quantities, and a path toward checkout. The useful differences appear in how buyers build the list and what happens after it is ready.
Short answer: Choose SoftwareSilo when catalog browsing, pasted CSV, bundle configuration, pre-checkout shipping and totals, payment selection, and preservation of an existing cart matter. Amasty is the clearer fit when XML input, category-page table ordering, or established Amasty integrations are mandatory.

How SoftwareSilo works
A buyer can start with autocomplete search, open a paged catalog browser, upload CSV, or paste CSV text. The import preview makes row errors visible before the list changes. Add and overwrite modes determine how imported SKUs interact with lines already present.
The module supports simple, configurable, and bundle products. It can show prices and tier-price information, while Magento remains responsible for the active customer price and quantity rules.
Once the list is valid, buyers can add everything to the normal cart. The optional direct-order route goes further: it prepares a separate quote, handles addresses, returns shipping methods and totals, exposes available payment methods, and can restore the buyer's previous cart afterwards.
How Amasty differs
Amasty accepts both CSV and XML. Its product page also documents multiple-SKU insertion, validation for SKU mismatches and stock, changing product options within the list, and ordering through a table view on category pages. That category mode is useful when buyers know the product family but not the exact SKU.
Amasty also publishes compatibility work with its Hide Price, Pre Order, Quote, Customer Group Catalog, and other modules. For a store already built around that suite, those tested connections may outweigh a difference in the core form.
Which one should you choose?
SoftwareSilo suits a project where Quick Order is meant to be a self-contained purchasing workspace. Its catalog modal, import preview, direct quote preparation, shipping calculation, payment step, and cart restoration all support that design.
Amasty suits a project that requires XML, wants quick ordering directly on categories, or already depends on several Amasty extensions. Ask for a demo of the exact product types and checkout modules in your store. Composite products and payment integrations are where a paper comparison usually stops being enough.
