BSS, Webkul, BroSolutions, and SoftwareSilo are often grouped under the same Magento 2 Quick Order label. In practice, they serve different project sizes. BroSolutions is a small free add-to-cart form. BSS has a conventional wholesale Fast Order page. Webkul publishes a large suite of related ordering features. SoftwareSilo sits between those ends with a focused form and a deeper direct-order workflow.
Short answer: SoftwareSilo is the fit when the buyer should search or browse, validate CSV, configure bundles, estimate shipping and totals, select payment, and keep an earlier cart. BSS is a familiar wholesale form, Webkul is broader in APIs and adjacent functions, and BroSolutions is useful when a free Hyvä-ready SKU form is enough.

SoftwareSilo and BSS
BSS gives buyers a Fast Order page built around AJAX product suggestions and multiple rows. It also offers a Mini Fast Order entry point, supports customer-group selection, and documents many storefront product types. Its CSV statement is more specific: bulk file import is described for simple products without custom options.
SoftwareSilo accepts CSV for its supported simple, configurable, and bundle products, including option fields. It adds a preview and can also take pasted text. Buyers who do not know the SKU can use its catalog modal. SoftwareSilo does not have the smaller floating Mini Fast Order form.
SoftwareSilo and Webkul
Webkul currently documents a much broader package. The list includes saved order templates, reconstruction of past orders, a quick-order category view, a floating widget, many product types, XML, analytics, REST, GraphQL, Hyvä, RTL, and guest ordering.
SoftwareSilo has a narrower public promise. Its strength is the order itself: build and validate the list, then either use the normal cart or continue with addresses, shipping, totals, payment, and optional restoration of the old cart. If Webkul's APIs, analytics, saved templates, or extra product types are required, SoftwareSilo is not a like-for-like replacement.
SoftwareSilo and BroSolutions
BroSolutions is free and MIT licensed. It lets buyers enter products by SKU or name, specify quantities, and add the result to the cart. The Marketplace listing says it works with Hyvä and needs no external service.
That is a compelling scope for a shop that wants a simple form and can maintain open-source code itself. SoftwareSilo costs money because it addresses a larger workflow: CSV preview, product options, catalog browsing, access policies, order limits, direct checkout preparation, and cart recovery.
Choosing by project risk
A long feature list is not automatically safer. Make a test order with the hardest real product, the largest normal file, the actual customer price rules, and the installed checkout modules. Then repeat it as a guest and an allowed customer group if those paths matter.
For a minimal Hyvä form, start by evaluating BroSolutions. For a classic wholesale order grid, compare BSS. For APIs, analytics, templates, and broad product support, examine Webkul. For a controlled Magento Open Source workspace that can continue through payment, test SoftwareSilo.
