Build routes instead of hard-coding one linear process: Conditions and switch nodes inspect fields or expressions and choose the next connection. Different outcomes can continue with separate actions, wait states or manual reviews.
Use controlled actions: Action nodes can set variables, update supported entities or entity state, send email, call a webhook, add a comment, wait or end the run. The definition shows the order of those actions and the data available to each step.
Include people where automation should stop: Human-task nodes create a review item with the allowed decisions. The workflow waits until an authorized administrator chooses an outcome and can record a comment before continuing through the matching route.
Validate and simulate before publication: Graph validation checks node types, configuration and connections. Simulation follows the same routing logic without sending emails or webhooks and stops at expected wait or approval points.
Publish immutable versions: Saving edits changes the draft. Publishing creates the active version used by new runs. A run that has already started keeps its original version, so later edits do not change a process in progress.
Inspect runs and tasks in Magento Admin: Runtime views show status, current path, node results, payload and errors. Task views show the available decision, reviewer and outcome. This gives operators a concrete place to investigate a process that has paused or failed.

Module-Specific Questions
Does saving a workflow make it live?
No. Saving updates the draft. New events use the workflow only after a valid version has been published and the definition is active.
What happens to an open run when I publish a change?
The open run keeps the published version with which it started. The new version applies only to later runs.
Does simulation send emails or webhooks?
No. Simulation follows routing and node logic but suppresses those external side effects. It may stop at a wait or human task.
Can a workflow update an order or customer?
Supported action nodes can update allowed entities and state. The exact entity and field must be available to the configured action and payload.
Can one Magento event start several workflows?
Yes. Each active published definition with a matching event trigger can create its own run.
How do human decisions continue a workflow?
An authorized administrator selects one of the decisions configured on the task. The run continues through the matching outcome route.
How does a Wait node continue?
The run stores its resume time. Magento cron finds due waits and schedules or performs the next runtime step.
Can workflows be moved between Magento installations?
Yes. Definitions can be exported and imported. Environment-specific IDs, webhook targets, permissions and store configuration must be checked before publication.
Can an external system start a workflow?
Yes. A published API-triggered workflow can be started through the service contract. Signed provider webhooks are also supported when configured.
Where should I look when a workflow appears stuck?
Check the run status and latest node, open human tasks, due wait time, Magento queue consumers, cron and the workflow error details.

How many Magento installations is the license valid for?
The license is valid for one Magento installation, including multi-website operation. In addition, the module may be installed on any number of development or staging servers. You can find further details in our license terms.
Is installation included in the price?
Installation and configuration are not included in the price. On request, we can support you with a smooth integration into your system.
How do I install a module?
Composer is PHP's package manager, and Magento 2 uses it to install modules and their dependencies. After purchase, the commands for your module are available under Licenses in your customer account. First add the private SoftwareSilo repository and your license token. Then install the listed package with composer require and run php bin/magento setup:upgrade and php bin/magento cache:clean.
What payment methods are available?
You can pay by credit card (Stripe) or bank transfer (prepayment). For credit card payments, the order is processed immediately and the access credentials are provided directly in a separate follow-up email.
What does the order process look like?
After credit card payment, you immediately receive access credentials to obtain the module via Composer. For bank transfer, access is granted once the invoice is paid.
I need a custom modification of the module. Is that possible?

Can I install a demo version locally?
On each module detail page, you can request your own demo instance and test the module intensively for 7 days. However, we do not provide a local demo version.

What is the update policy and support?
